Motors and Drives - Basic Principles (3 Days)
In conjunction with Aston University
Engineers who have to deal with motors and drives in the course of their work and who wish to improve their understanding of fundamental theory and its application to practical issues.
To provide a sound appreciation of the theory of motors and drives and of the basis of practical procedures and the range of types of motor available.
Course content can be adjusted to meet the needs of Course Members.
There will be laboratory work on machines to illustrate some of the principles and, if appropriate, computer simulations
